4. Tap 'Cellular Data Network'.
5. Tap 'APN' and enter 3gpronto
6. Tap 'Username' leave Blank
7. Tap 'Password' leave Blank
8. Tap 'Network'

Your settings are now complete

6. Tap 'Username' gprs
7. Tap 'Password' gprs
8. Tap 'Network'

Email Settings

1. Tap 'Settings'.
2. Tap 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars'.
3. Tap 'Add Account'.
4. Tap 'Other'
5. Tap 'Name' and enter your name, then tap 'return'.
6. Tap 'Address' field enter your email address then tap 'return'.
7. Tap 'Password' and enter your email account password.
8. Tap 'Description' field enter a name for this email account then tap 'Save'.
9. Tap 'Yes' to the question, 'Cannot Connect Using SSL. Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?'.

 

Incoming Mail Server

  • 10. Tap your new account name.
    11. Check that 'Host Name is pop.mail.yahoo.com
    12. Check that the 'User Name' field is first part of your email address i.e. joebloggs for joebloggs@yahoo.com
    13. Tap 'Password' and re-enter your account password, then tap 'return'.

    Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)


    14. Check that 'Host Name' field is smtp.mail.yahoo.com
    15. Check that the 'User Name' field is first part of your email address i.e. joebloggs for joebloggs@yahoo.com
    16. Tap 'Password' and re-enter your account password, then tap 'return'.
    17. Check that 'SMTP' field is smtp.mail.yahoo.com

    Mail plus customers - proceed as above and edit/complete the following settings
    Incoming mail server - host name: pop.mail.yahoo.com

    Outgoing mail server - host name : smtp.mail.yahoo.com
